To test your cardiorespiratory endurance fitness you could do the harvard step test where you would take your heart rate by checking your pulse on three occasions.
Eg. between 1 min and 1 min 30s
between 2 min and 2 min 30s
between 3 min and 3 min 30s
The totals from these three recordings are then used to calculate your score using a formula.
The purpose of a test is to find out your level of cardiorespiratory endurance is to see if it is above average, average or below average.
I really dont think i got this right btw =\
Oh! do i get points for being such a good child and doing this at home?
I should hope so!!!!
=P
You would test your cardiorespiratory endurance by performing the harvard step test. It is designed to to give you this information. To perform this you will need a bench 45 cm high. Record 3 5 minute step up periods doing 30 step ups per minute. your score will = duration of exercise in seconds dived by your pulse count times 100 divided by one and this will show you if you are above or below average.

To test your cardiorespiratory endurance you would need to wor for long intervals at a low level of intensity. Running, swimming and cycling would be an ideal way of testing your cardiorespiratory because these are aerobic activities. aerobic activites are ones in which you need to work instensily and your pulse rate goes up.
the purpose of a test is to see what how long and effectively your whole body can work continuously. by doing this you are able to improve it.
