Questions:
- What are the 5 aspects of fitness?
- What does working aerobically mean?
- How will improving your Cardiorespiratory Endurance improve your performance in basketball?
- What are 3 main ways to test CRE?
- Why do we need to train in our aerobic training zone?
- Describe one method of training to improve Cardiorespiratory Endurance?
- Why is Muscular Endurance important for volleyball, and what would poor muscular endurance cause in a game?
- Describe one way to improve your Muscular Endurance.
- Nobody enjoys homework, but did you find using a podcast and the blog better than homework sheets?
- Is there anything else you would like to see on the PE blog.

1. 5 aspects of fitness are strenght, speed quick, reaction time, flexibility and co-ordination.
2. Working aerobically means you will need lots of oxegyn to supply working muscles.
3. It will help you by enabling the whole body to work continuously.
4. Continuous, fartlek and interval are all ways of testing CRE.
5. You have to train in you aerobic training zone because there wont be enough oxegyn going to the muscles and they wont work properly and will get tired easily.
6. The Harvard Step Test is one way to test your cardio respiratory endurance.
7. It is important because you havve to use the same muscle groups throughout the game. Poor muscular endurance will lead to fatigue and your muscles will feal heavy.
8. To improve your muscular endurance you need to work muscle groups for long intervals at a low level of intensity.
9. I thought is is better than writing it down because you might lose the paper then you would have to write it out again.
10. No

1)Strength, speed, local muscular endurance, cardio respiratory endurance and flexiblity.
2)Working aerobically means that you use alot of oxygen in the activity you are doing.
3)It would improve your performance in basketball because it would mean you would be able to play for longer without getting tired =]
4)The 3 main ways to test CRE are:
The 20 meter shuttle run (The bleep test)
12 minute cooper test
Harvard step test.
5)We need to train in our aerobic training zone to improve you CRE.
6)One method of training to improve cardiorespiratory endurance is long continuous running. =\
7)Muscular endurance is important for volleyball beacuase have to jump up high and blocked oppisition spikes continuously. Poor muscular endurance caused in a game would make your performance poor and you would most likely lose. (And you would be very gutted!)=[
8)One way to improve your muscular endurance is circuit training.
9)True Mr Imrie no one enjoys homework (espically me ;])
but yeah i did find using the podcast alot better than using the crummy homework sheet =]
10)Well right now i think the P.e. blog is fine the way it is =]
So yeah just leave it as it is.
Oh yeah as for that mad wee widget thingymerbobber that says
“First person to tell me Who won sport personality 2007 wins 20 points!”
Well Sports personality 2007 is Joe Calzaghe (He’s a boxer) =P

1. Strength, speed, local muscular endurance, cardio vascular endurance, flexibility
2. working for a long period of time while using oxygen.
3. you will be able to concentrate more on your without getting tired.
4. interval, continous, fartlek
5. To improve CRE.
6. Long continuos running- runs over a long distance at a steady pace.
7. So that you jump high to spike the ball. Fatigue.
8. Weight training- low weights high repititions
9. Hell yeh!
10.Not really

1. The 5 aspects of fitness are strength, speed, cardio vascular endurance, local muscular endurance and flexibility.
2. Working aerobically means you need a lot of oxygen to supply your working muscles.
3. Improving your Cardio respiratory endurance improves your performance in basketball as it makes you perform better.
4. 3 main ways to test cardio respiratory endurance are – bleep test, 12 minute run test or the something step test.
5. We need to train in our aerobic training zone because
6. One method of training to improve Cardiorespiratory Endurance is by doing long continuous running, you run over long distances using a steady pace.
7. Muscular Endurance is important for volleyball because you need to jump high and block oppositions spikes. Poor muscular endurance would cuase you to become fatigued and you would jump less effectively.
8. One way to improve your Muscular Endurance is circuit training. A circuit includes sit-ups, burpees, press-ups, dips, shuttle runs and step-ups. Each of the excersises are useful for different muscles in the body.
9. The podcast and blog are easier to use.

1. the five aspects of fitness are strength, speed, local muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility.
2. working aerobically means working for long intervals at a low level of intensity. you need oxygen to supply working muscles.
3. improving your cardiorespiratory endurance would improve your performance in basketball because it would allow you to work longer and cope with the endurance demand of the activity, like dribbling with the ball effectively.
4. three ways to test your CRE is the beep test, the cooper test and the harvard step test.
5. we need to train in our aerobic training zone so we know how much exercise our body is able to handle.
6. one method of improving CRE is long continuous running, this is when an athlete runs over long distances at a steady pace.
7. muscular endurance is important in volleyball because you are using your muscles continually for long periods of time. you have to use muscles in your legs; to jump up for the ball and you need to use muscles in your arms to hit the ball. poor muscular endurance would affect your performace as your muscles would become fatigued and possibly sore.
8. one way to improve your muscular endurance is to see how many repitions of a certain exercise in a set amount of time.
9. no, aha. i prefer the homework sheets basically because they are easier and take less time to do.
10. pictures or something.

1)
Doing shuttle-runs
2) Working aerobically means you need a lot of oxygen to work.
3) Improving your cre will improve your performance in basketball because it means you will be able to play the whole game without getting very tired.
4) Harvard step test.
5) So we dont over work and possibly injure ourselves
6) Interval
7)
