Q – Can you describe the 4 stages of a warm up?
Q – Why do you perform a warm down (also known as a cool down) after exercise?

the 4 stages of a warm up are increasing the heart rate by jogging for 5 – 10 minutes. the second stage is maybe performing a certain type of footwork or exercise related to the activity soon to be performed. the third stage is stretching off all muscles to prevent injury. the fourth stage is playing a simplified version of the activity played.
you perform a warm down to decrease your heart rate aswell as flushing out waste products such as lactic acid.

Hi.
The 4 stages of the warm up are: getting the blood moving around the body and heart rate increased(ie. a light jog); stretching; an exercise with someting to do with the game; and mental preperation.
A cool down is required so a build up a lactic acid does not occur and cause injury to muscles.

1) The for stages of a warm up are jogging to speed up our heart rate, stretching to loosen up our muscles, practice a technique.
2) We do a cool down to make sure our heart rate doesn’t drop too fast and slowly cools down our bodies and muscles.

Well done to those who answered correctly, the 4 stages are-
1. Increase your pulse rate through aerobic activity
2. Stretching exercises of the large muscle groups
3. Practice skill related exercises for the activity
4. Prepare your mind for the activity
The purpose of a warm down is to help your body recover after exercise.
