Its definition is the time taken between the recognition of a signal and the start of a movement. In basketball you require a fast reaction time when marking an attacker, and to move across the court.

agility is a skill related fitness required in basketball. being agile in basketball is being able to nimlby and quickly move around court using your leg muscles. this helps as it allows you to move past players and reach the hoop successfully !
